Airline strike avoided

A strike by 836 cabin crew members of the low fare airline Norwegian was avoided when an agreement was reached in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The two sides accepted a proposal from the arbitrator two hours on overtime.

The dispute arose from both working conditions and pay.

Norwegian planes will therefore operate on schedule on Wednesday.
