In the report for the fourth quarter, Norwegian households are nearly as positive about the economic outlook as they were before the global financial crisis hit.
- We believe that the average household has good reason to have a positive outlook for the future, says FNO CEO Arne Hyttnes.
In spite of the optimism, FNO does not believe in a Norwegian buying spree. Most of us know that while things are looking good for Norway, many other nations have a national debt that is sky high, and high unemployment. There is still fear that this could also affect Norway.
