Aviation: Norwegian plans new base in Ireland

altLow-fare airline Norwegian is considering registering its new Dreamliner long distance aircraft in Ireland, in order to cut staff and operating costs, and increase profits.

The airline wants to use staff with Asian salary and working conditions on its new destinations to New York, Florida and Bangkok, in order to achieve greater profitability, financial newspaper Dagens Næringsliv writes.

Norwegian regulations forbids Norwegian to use Asian staff and salary conditions on its Norwegian-registered aircraft.
