The chance for being caught fishing illegally in Norwegian waters is very small indeed. This is the opinion of the senior public prosecutor in the counties of Troms and Finnmark, Lars Fause. 
The EU Commission has decided to lift EU's anti-dumping measures against Norwegian farmed salmon, effective July 20th. The measures were introduced in 2006. 
Norwegian aqua farmers are facing major losses due to the salmon diseases ILA and PD. The spread of disease has shown strong increase over the past six months. 
The Norwegian coast guard vessel 'KV Leikvin' last Saturday filmed two British trawlers dumping large quantities of freshly caught fish in the North Sea, but was not able to intervene.
