Ski jumper to serve doping sentence

Norway ski jumper Tom Aage Aarnes is suspended from all sports for two years after using amphetamine in connection with competitions, an athletic court ruled on Thursday. Aarnes was tested after a ski jumping event last September and the results showed that there were traces of amphetamine in his blood. Now he is suspended for two years, and he is also disqualified from participating in commissions as far as athletics are concerned. Aarnes is appealing the sentence to Norway's athletic association's appeals court. Lasse Loennebotn
