Private homes more expensive

Prices on private homes rose by an average 4.3 per cent from December till January. In January 2011 home prices were 7.6 per cent higher than in the same month last year.

Prices on bungalows increased by 6 per cent from December till January, while duplex housing rose by 4.4 per cent.

Prices on apartments rose by 3.7 per cent in the same period.
