New digital mail service offeredThe Norwegian Mail Service (Posten) will from today, Tuesday, offer customers digital storage of documents, Digipost, but the data industry is sceptical to the new service, NRK reports. Digipost offers customers a three-year free mail service and storage of important documents, but it is unclear what happens after this period, according to NRK. - Users must test out the new service and demand more spesific terms, says Per Morten Hoff, Secretary General of IKT-Norge. Posten Norge believes Digipost will replace much of ordinary letter writing, and is estimating that the new service will have more than a million users by the end of 2011.
