In August, 93.84% of all SAS flights arrived on time, the highest rate of all within the "major airlines" category, which comprise airlines of more than 30,000 departures a year.

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) set a punctuality record last month and thereby became the world's most punctual airline for the second month in a row, according to Flightstats.
Consumer price index (CPI) fell by 0.6 per cent from July to August 2011, mainly due to price falls in food and airline fares. From August 2010 to August 2011the CPI rose by 1.3 per cent.

While domestic air travel in Norway is still near normal, major airfields throughout Europe are struggling with cancelled and delayed flights, and terminals crowded with frustrated travellers trying to get home for Christmas.
