Norwegian is particularly pleased that the new record came in a month when a strike by security guards affected several Norwegian airports. The airline reports that 90 per cent of the June flights were booked via the Internet. (Aftenposten)

Low fare airline Norwegian carried 1 224 958 million passengers in June. This was a new record for a single month, and a 25 per cent increase compared with the same month last year.
