Kongsberg awarded Lockheed contract
The contract, worth NOK 270 million, applies to the delivery of composite and titanium components for the aircraft's rudders. The contract is for deliveries to 62 aircrafts. The components, mainly parts for the tail rudder of the Joint Strike Fighter, will be manufactured at the company's plant in Kongsberg. Kongsberg is an international, knowledge-based group that supplies high-technology systems and solutions to customers engaged in the oil and gas industry, the merchant marine, and the defence and aerospace industries.
