Every year in March, fishermen from all over the world team up to fight for the world championship in Cod-fishing in Lofoten. Last years winning Cod weighed 19,2 kg.

The 2011 Amanda winners - King of Devil's Island won Best Norwegian Film in Theatrical Release, Erik Skjoldbjærg won Best Director withNokas, while the audience award the People's Amanda went to The Troll Hunter during the big evening of celebration in Haugesund for the film industry. It is exactly 20 years ago Brovoll and Moe met for the first time - and it was during the very first edition of the Hell Blues Festival in 1992. Since then, the Jolly Moe recorded 4 cd's, where the recent "Welcome To Jimbo Jambo Land" was released last fall. Critiques have been brilliant and gentlemen have been very popular on the Norwegian blues venues and festivals last year.
