Music: A-ha performs on home turf
It will also be the largest that has ever been performed in Norway. In the coming weeks the band will also play in Bergen, Trondheim and Kristiansand. In each city the stadiums can hold between 14,000 to 16,000 fans. Along for the ride are 20 semi trailers and 100 staffers, in addition to a further 200 workers at each site. The band, consisting of Morten Harket, Magne Furuholmen and PÂl Waaktaar, have released hit singles like "The Sun Always Shines on TV," and albums like Minor Earth Major Sky (2000) and Lifelines (2002). A-ha began its retirement tour in Buenos Aires in March and will play its final concerts in early December, also in Oslo. Tickets for these shows have been sold out long ago. A-ha is the most-selling band in Norwegian history. Since its debut-hit Take on Me in 1985, A-ha has sold over 36 million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. The band has received countless awards for its performances.
