"Munch 150" - a major exhibition of Norwegian painter Edvard Munch's works, was opened in Oslo on Saturday, the main event in the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the artist (1863–1944).
After years of discussions, the Oslo City Council announced on Tuesday that it had reached a majority agreement to build a new Munch Museum in the Bjørvika harbour area in Eastern Oslo.
