South Korean baritone Donghwan Lee (31) won the Queen Sonja International Music Competition held in Oslo Friday evening. Norway's mezzo-soprano Ingeborg Gillebo (28) came second.
The Trondheim Chamber Music Festival was established in 1996 as a small festival featuring friends and musicians from Trondheim, run by two friends from a studio bedroom and various café tables around Trondheim.

Odd Nerdrum, one of Norway's famous painters, has been sentenced to two years in prison, after an Oslo court found him guilty of tax evasion. Nerdrum appealed the sentence.

It is exactly 20 years ago Brovoll and Moe met for the first time - and it was during the very first edition of the Hell Blues Festival in 1992.
