Unreliable city clocks

Oslo city dwellers as well as visitors to the Norwegian capital have been complaining that strategically placed large clocks in the city can never be relied upon to show correct time.

Most complain about the clock on the Oslo City Hall and the white clock on the docks at Aker Brygge.

Deck hand on the passenger ferry running between Oslo Harbour and Nesodden, Hugo Sørgård says: - I have worked here for 15 years, and would never trust the City Hall clock.

Oslo Mayor Fabian Stang now promises that things will improve: - We must see to it that the clocks are correct, he says to NRK.

We can only add: Time will show!
