The cost of buing a home in Norway was 3.4 per cent higher in January this year than last December. House prices are now 13.1 per cent higher than they were one year ago.
This is shown by statistics from the Association of Norwegian Realtors presented this week.
The price increase is true for all types of homes, and the house prices for the first month of the year are the highest ever. They are 2 per cent higher than in the previous top month, which was August 2007.
