Letter of regret from "terminator" |

 The young man who destroyed Bergen's traditional Christmas "Gingerbread City" a month ago has written a letter of apology to his fellow tonwsmen and women, in which he expresses deep regret for what he did.
He begins his letter with an apology to first of all to the hundreds of children who helped to bake, make and decorate all the buildings in the "Gingerbread City", and the apology is next directed to the citizens of Bergen and the rest of Norway. - I am not proud of what I did. I regret it deeply, and can only say I am pleased that so many articipated in frebuilding the Gingerbread City. That shows that the citizens of Bergen are proud and pleased with their traditions. An so am I, actually. He then goes on to admit that he was drunk that evening, saying he has no one else to blame but himself. - Nothing like this has ever happened before, and I promise it will never happen again, the 20-year-old man writes. Following several meetings with the local Conflict Council, the man has agreed to donate a monthly sum to SOS Children's Villages (SOS Barnebyer) for a three-year period.
