American WW II Veteran's Dying Wish

In the pursuit to try and grant my dad's dying wish, I am asking anyone (a sibling, child, grandchild, neighbor, friend, distant relative, etc.) who knows or knew a woman by the name of Bjorg Enger who lived in Oslo, Norway around 1945 or if you knew anyone by the last name of Enger who might know of Ms. Enger to please contact me.  I am desperately trying to fulfill my Dad's dying wish.

In 1945 my dad was in Oslo, Norway serving in the Army with the 474th Infantry Regiment.  He was there with his battalion to disarm the Germans.  The troops and my Dad befriended a family.  This family had a little girl around the age of 9 or 12.  This family fed the troops and became like a family to them.  When the troops left Oslo, Norway,  this family gave my dad a card which he carried in his wallet for 65 years.  Weeks before my dad died, he gave this card to my brother and asked that we try contacting this family.  The card reads "FRK. Bjorg Enger, Klosterveien 51, Skuyen, P..R. Oslo, Norge".  We had it translated to Bjorg Enger, Koster Road 51, Skoyen, Oslo Norway.

If you know of anyone who could help me in my quest to find out information about  Bjorg Enger or if you know anything about her, please contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.
