Swine Flu: Mass vaccination adviced Print E-mail
Image As expected, the Norwegian Health authorities on Friday announced that they advice all Norwegians to be vaccinated against the swine flu. So far, ten persons are known to have died from the flu in Norway.

Persons in high risk groups will be inocculated first, and the rest of the population will follow, but probably not before the middle of November.

It is reported that 2000 now are confirmed to have the flu, but many more are sick wiith flu syptoms and in many schools and kindergartens 50 per cent of the children are absent.

Already, there are daily long lineups at many vaccination centres around the country, and many GPs report that they are inundated with calls from nervous patients who either have symptoms, or want to know where to go for inoculation.

Not all municipalities have so far received the vaccine. In other places the health centers have already depleated the stocks first received.

The authorities have been criticised for insufficient information to the public.
