Pre Election: Information - Views - Comments Print E-mail
Image On September 14th there will be elections to the Norwegian Parliament (Storting) (photo) and to the Sami Assembly in Norway. The Norway Post will try to present information and comments. Today: Popular Prime Minister Stoltenberg

A poll made for NRK and Dagbladet by Synovate shows that 48 per cent of the voters say Jens Stoltenberg is doing a good job as prime minister, while 40 per cent say he is doing a fair job. Only 10 per cent of those asked say he is doing a poor job.

Sample ImageThe same 48 per cent also say he is doing a good job as leader of the Labour Party.

The Conservative party leader Erna Solberg is on the advance. 36 per cent say she is doing a good job as party leader, up 4 per cent since last week's poll.

Leader of the right wing Progress Party, Siv Jensen, ranks second a party leader, with 37 per cent who say she is doing a good job, but she is down by 4 per cent from last week's poll.
