UN Secretary-General visits Norway |

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will on Sunday arrive in Oslo to begin a three-day visit to Norway, including Svalbard. The official programme will start on Monday 31 August.
The Secretary General will be received at the airport by received by Minister of the Environment and International Development Erik Solheim. On Monday, in addition to an audience with HM King Harald at the Royal Palace, the Secretary-General will have meetings with Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Stoere, Minister of the Environment and International Development Erik Solheim, President of the Storting Thorbjørn Jagland and the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, among others.
