There is evidence to suggest that Norwegian emergency aid to North Korea may have been given to the military, and not to the suffering civilians.
There is evidence to suggest that Norwegian emergency aid to North Korea may in part have been given to the military, and not to the suffering civilians. Twice, emergency rations from Norway have been found onboard North Korean spy-subs which have become disabled in South Korean waters.
These emergency rations had been meant for children in hospitals, and others in need, Aftenposten reports.
Head of Foreign Operations of the Norwegian Red Cross, Magne Barth, is of the opinion that the emergency aid has come into the wrong hands, while the Foreign Office thinks the control system is satisfactory.
