Zap bids for Norway's Think |

The US company Zap has made an offer for the Norwegian-designed electric car Think. The company, Think Nordic, is owned by Ford Motor, but Ford has decided to close down the production, and has since tried to sell the battery-powered vehicle.

The company, Think Nordic, with 150 employees, is owned by Ford Motor, but Ford has decided to close down the production.Since production was stopped in August, Ford had tried to sell the battery-powered vehicle.
According to NRK, California-based Zap has offered around NOk 75 million for Think Nordic.
In 1999, Ford paid NOK 23 million for the company, and has since invested another NOK 100 million in the facilities in Norway.
Zap is presently manufacturing elcetrically powered bikes and scooters in California.
