A 17-year-old boy from Vadsoe has been charged with having sent a bomb threat to the US intelligence service CIA in Washington.
The threat was sent to CIA's web site earlier this week, NRK reports. The CIA contacted the National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime in Norway (OEKOKRIM), which traced the message back to a PC in Vadsoe.
The Vadsoe police then arrested the boy, and the preliminary charge is for passing on serious threats.
The boy has admitted to having sent the message, and will probably be given a fine, VG writes.
