Rosenborg continues to improve its squad ahead of the upcoming Champions League games.
On Thursday the Trondheim club completed the signing of Morten Knutsen from Start.
Knutsen, 20, is seen as the ideal replacement for Mini Jakobsen, and Start
and RBK agreed on a 12 million kroner (1,5 million dollars) transfer fee -- half now and the rest when Knutsen passes 50 games for RBK.
The young winger helped promote Start to the premiership this season and RBK coach Nils Arne Eggen says he is a fast player with a brilliant left-foot.
Knutsen is the second new-signing at RBK in recent days, after Arild Berg agreed to join the side earlier this week. Previously, RBK has signed midfielder Kenneth Storvik from Swedish club Helsingborg and defender Tor Trondsen from Moss.
Meanwhile, Celtic turned down RBK´s bid for former RBK striker Harald Brattbakk, saying the offer was too low.Lasse Loennebotn |
