Lowest wage growth in ten years

This is the lowest wage growth since 1995, according to NRK.The consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.4 per cent from 2003 to 2004, against 2.5 per cent the year before.

Analysts have estimated that the rise in prices will be 1-1.5 per cent from 2004 to 2005.

The rice in prices provides one of the most important guidelines for the Central Banks's calculation of interest rates.
