Austria's Thomas Morgenstern placed third, while Norway's second best, Tom Hilde came 6th. Without a World Cup win since 2006, Bardal (29) became the first Norwegian winner of the 2011-12 World Cup season and climbs to second in the overall standings on 326 points, behind Austria's Martin Kofler with 408 points.
