Cross country: Norwegians 2nd and 3rd in Otepää

Norwegian skiers Ola Vigen Hattestad (photo) and Eirik Brandsdal placed second and third respectively in the men's classic sprint at the Cross Country Skiing World Cup in Estonia on Saturday.

Swiss Dario Cologna made the most of the absence of arch World Cup-rival Petter Northug of Norway to win at will in Otepää.

In the women’s sprint event, Norway's Marit Bjørgen lost on the last stretch to her arch rival, Poland's Justyna Kowalczyk, who thereby reduced Bjoergen’s overall World Cup lead. Russia’s Natalia Matveeva came third.
