Flakstad Municipality consists of Flakstad Island and the northern tip of Moskenes Island. The Vestvågøy/Vestvagoi island, countains the earlier municipalities Borge, Busknes, Hol and Valberg. Vaagan municipality includes almost all of the islands of Austvågøy/Austvagoi, Gimsøy/Gimsoi and a number of small islands, among them Henningsvær/Henningsavaer and Skrova.
