Several of your letters to Norway Post contain suggestions and ideas for new services. With our limited resources we are often not able to fulfil your wishes. However, little by little we expand, and today I would like to draw your attention to a new 'button' on our front page, marked 'CHAT'. This is in reply to many of you who have requested the possibility to communicate directly with those of 'like mind' reading Norway Post.Well, here you are! Click on the button, register, and off you go! Notice that you have the possibility to chat with just one person 'in private' if you wish. Also that your nick-name should be chosen to be different from your real name. Good Luck! As I have told you several times before, we do get the strangest requests and queries, about cheese and stockfish, travel, and all sorts of other information related to Norway. This week we received a plea from a theatre in Britain. The producer was putting on Ibsen's play 'Ghost', and needed copies of Norwegian newspapers from the 1880s. Could we help? And a few days and telephone calls later, we were able to tell him that the papers were on their way, courtesy the National Theatre in Oslo. And Mr. Ibsen must be a popular man, because we have had this request also from theatres in Germany, the Netherlands and France as well. Look around, may be he's 'at a theatre near you'!
