Voters continue to leave the Labour Party. For the first time the Socialist Left Party is nearly as large as Labour, but the nations largest party is now the right wing Progress Party. This is shown by a poll made by Sentio/Norsk Statistikk.
Voters continue to leave the Labour Party. For the first time the Socialist Left Party is nearly as large as Labour.
However, the nations largest party is now the right wing Progress Party. According to a poll made by Sentio/Norsk Statistikk for Nationen, the support for the Labour Party has droped by 3.2 points over the past month, to 17.2 per cent.
At the same time, the Socialist Left gains by 1 point, and now has the support of 17 per cent of the electorate.
The polls shows that Labour has lost 183,000 voters since the Parliamentary election last year. Labour was then the largest party, with the support of 24.3 per cent of the voters.
The highest gain on this latest poll, however, is registered by the right wing Progress Party, with 3.9 points, and is now supported by 23.1 per cent of the electorate.
The Conservative Party drops by 3.0 points and is now at 21.9 per cent. The Liberal Left, on the other hand, gains by 2.0 points, and now enjoys the support of 3.8 per cent of the voters.
